Windows open like little minds
Absorbing all that passes by
Like conversations overheard
But keeping safe, what's inside

Wonderous secrets lurk within
The windows show only a glimpse
Of the world beyond the darkened glass
This ever cycling mental eclipse

Haunted memories dance beneath
The crumbling exterior of my mind
Like a window shut to the world outside
One blurry memory is now defined

Paths to destiny lead those that follow
Patterns are repeated as always before
A step once taken will become dejavue
The shattering glass is somehow the cure
